So here I am, at the 11th hour trying to find an outfit for my sons Christening. Its on September 11th. Wasnt too sure about the date. I mean, here it is the 10 year anniversary of one of the most significant days since I've been alive. Now is the time, looking for an outfit that is: 1) Acceptable for a Catholic Church. 2) Wont roast my sun in this Florida heat. 3) wont make him look like a girl.
While I'm searching for this outfit (one that he will never wear again in his life. Its not like we have a wedding or something that he can wear this to again). I cant help but think of that line from "Sex and the City" when Carrie is helping Miranda search for an outfit for little Brady's Christening. "Baby's first drag show".
Oh yeah, did I mention that I'm a stay at home mom? So that means I'm a broke bitch. So I can't (not that I would even if I did have a job or the money) go spending crazy money on an Christening outfit that he's never going to wear again.
Ahh...back to the online shopping boards. :)
