You know those mini games you play while you are digging for treasure in "Treasure Madness"?
I have some favorite games, and my least favorite.
Sometimes I just play TM, just to get the mini games.  I wish there were some maps that more games.

Comfort Show: Sex and the City

What is it about the TV show "Sex and the City" that when the kids are napping, or you just want to put something on the TV, that this is the show I select.  I love it.
I like the movies, but nothing is (or was) like the show.  My girlfriends and I still quote lines from the show.

One day my friend Tina and I were walking through Nordstroms and wandered over to the purse section.  There we saw some Kate Spade purses.  So of course we had to say "Kate must have a tiny vagina" (from when the girls were in the bathroom and Charlotte was talking about how a tampon wouldn't fit in her Kate Spade purse.

Impatiently waiting for Dexter

Last year when Dexter was on, I remember being in the last trimester of my pregnancy.  It was Sunday night, and Dexter always left me with a cliffhanger, and on pins and needles.  I would tell my husband after each episode that I was way too pregnant to deal with the anxiety that the show left me.

Now, all I hear about is the NEW season of Dexter is coming back on this fall.  WHEN THIS FALL???  I'm needing a Dexter fix.  I'm wanting him to go and kill those bad guys.  (Could this be because I want Dexter to go after Casey Anthony, or even an in-law? lol)  KIDDING ON THE IN LAW PART!!!  I KID.  I KID.  (Not so much with Casey Anthony)

Come on Dexter.  I can't wait to see who you are going to kill.  :)

Attack of the Inlaws (edited version)

I was in the process of writing about how horrible my inlaws are, going into detail of how each of play no role in mine, my husband, or my children's lives.  But I decided to be a "nice" person, and I just have that blog saved, but not published.

So, I will write this one instead.  I have the inlaws that want to butt their nose in when not asked, (once a year, yet, we get no contact (cards, phone calls, text messages) the entire year, but how that ONE day a year when we are forced to see them, let my inlaws play "happy family" (you know how they pretend how much they love their grandchildren because they held them for 10 minutes) then we don't see them again for another 364 days.
Yep, these are my inlaws.
I'm not saying anything else, other than my thoughts to about them are: you did a great job fucking up my husbands childhood.  Not going to give you the opportunity to do it to my kids.
They are crazy.  Seriously.  CRAZY.  Medication needed crazy.

Kate Plus Eight Series Finale

It's the last episode of Kate Plus 8.  (Happy Dance!! Happy Dance!!!)

I have watched Jon and Kate Plus 8 from the beginning, so as much as I can't STAND Kate Gosselin, I had to watch the last episode of Kate Plus 8.

They are doing interviews with Kate and her "team".  Ashley commenting about "I would die for these kids, but I can't stand another minute with her."  Kate responds that she thinks it was "over dramatic".  Isn't that all Kate does since the moment the TV cameras started to roll on her?  Be Dramatic??  Hello Kettle.

The producers ask Kate how her and Ashley are now.  Kate says they're fine; Ashley doesn't feel the same way.  As usual, Kate brushes everyone else's feelings under the rug. 

Kate says that people think that she is like "Mommy Dearest".  I do!  She's one "NO WIRE HANGER" away from Faye Dunaway.   As she screams "DONT SPEAK-ANYMORE"  "I'm in charge, thats never going to change".  She's horrible.

Mady (a mini version of Kate) said it best that doing the show was like having their own home movies.  They didn't have time to video their childhood, and it was done for them.  For that reason, I'm glad that they did the show.  Those kids ARE cute.

Old clips of Jon and his interviews are shown.  It shows Kate just being horrible to him.  Yelling at him, talking down to him, she was just rude.  Its always been Kates way, and I believe them getting married, and them having children, she was the driving force behind it.  I can just see her saying "I want to get married - NOW.  I want to have kids - NOW".  He says "I met Kate at 20, I got married at 22, I had twins at 23, I had sextuplets at 27.  Our marriage fell apart and I felt like I was free"
I believe he felt like he was free from Kate; not from the kids.  Again, this is MY opinion.

Kate says that the future hold TV for her.  (Eye roll)  I personally don't see myself watching anything that has Kate Gosselin on/in it.  I can't stand her.  I love the kids.  I would love to see where there are 5, 10, 20 years from now.  (Probably all hauling ass away from Kate the moment they turn 18.  I know I would).  It would be interesting to see where and what Kates relationship will be with her kids when they are older.  Those kids were her meal ticket.
I think a few therapy sessions with Dr. Phil on the OWN network would actually pull in some ratings!!!  Why IS Kate such a control freak?  Why does she drive away her friends?  Why does she drive away her family?

In conclusion, Kate Gosselin is just a miserable, unhappy, control freak.  I for one, am happy to not be seeing her on TV anymore, and even better, not hearing her constantly screaming at people.

Goodbye Kate.  Hope we see the kids soon, but I'll take a pass with you. 

Best Art Toy for kids!

Aquadoodle is the best, most amazing art toy EVER!!!

I can't believe I have never seen/heard of this.  My daughters Godfather bought this for her and its the best toy EVER!!!
G LOVES to color/draw.  We have gone thru our experiences of her eating crayons-first time it was a red one.  I almost passed out when I changed her diaper the next day.  I thought my daughter's insides were bleeding.
Markers.  Thank goodness we bought the washable ones, she likes to draw everywhere.  Especially on herself
We went to visit my mom, (whose house is NOT baby proofed). G found a permanant black marker and drew all over my OCD mom's house.  Fridge, carpet, throw pillows, tile.
Paint - she loves it.  Me not so much.  Especially when she decides to no longer paint her paper, and moves over and paints the kitchen table.
Finally thought I found the answer and used the Crayola markers that the color only shows up on special coloring paper, and once that's done, you have to go out and buy a new book.

Then Aquadoodle entered our lives!  You fill up the "marker" with water, and she draws on a pad, and her drawings fade away, as the water dries.  Bingo, you have a clean, brand new canvas to draw on again.  Colors can't go everywhere, and its non-toxic.

There are no messes, just a relief that I can give my daughter a marker, and she can express herself all over the canvas, and even if she gets the marker open, it's only water.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!!!  Every parent of a toddler needs this item.  I can't believe it's taken me this long to find this.  And to make it even funnier.  Her Godfather is a single man, no kids, the definition of a bachelor, and he finds this product.  I can't tell you how much I appreciate this gift!

FAVORITE ELLEN MOMENT - Excited guest

Kids are in bed, I'm on the computer and watching recorded Ellen shows.  I now must have watched this segment 4 times on my TV.  I LOVE this woman!!!  Both Ellen and her guest!
Oh she (the guest is just amazing!)  I think her name is Lisa.  She is cracking me up.  From the clip that brought her back to the show, to her mouthing "she's talking to me". Oh I love her!
The part where she gives her friend a not so subtle wave,  explaining her first plane ride just to see the show ("they gotta fix that"), to her not wanting to turn around to even see car.

Ellen Degeneres Show

Being that I've worked, and only in the past year become a stay at home mom, (SAHM) I only recently was able to watch daytime TV.  One show that I love to watch when I get a chance (and always record), is the Ellen show.  

I will admit, I never watched her before, until she was a judge on American Idol.  Then somehow during the show it was mention that the person that was kicked off of American Idol would be a guest on her talk show.  Needless to say, I started to set my DVR for Thursday's Ellen show.  Which lead to me wanting to watch her more, and now, I'm so a fan. 

She cracks me up.  Her practical jokes are the BEST.  I'm actually guilty of being on my iphone in the middle of the night, trying to go to sleep, and I will youtube videos of pranks she's played on guests.  I can't stop laughing and smiling when I watch the Ellen show.  

Her "reporter" Amy, being scared in the haunted house is one of the best clips I've ever seen.  And the clip where she scares Taylor Swift is hilarious.  

I LOVE ELLEN!!!!  Such a fan!

Teresa Giudice 'fairytale" wedding renewal

Guilty!!  I am so guilty of loving celebrity trash magazines. OK, People, In Touch, Life & Style.  When I go to grocery shopping, sometimes I have even stood in the LONGER line, just so I can grab one of those magazines, and read/skim an article while waiting to check out.  Grocery shopping yesterday 9/8 was no exception.
I see on the cover of In Touch magazine, Teresa and Joe Giudice wedding photos.  I ran over and grabbed the magazine.

Here are some highlights of my skim:
Teresa wore a $25,000 Pnina Tornai gown.  (If you watch "Say Yes to the Dress" you know Pnina has some over-the-top gowns, and are EXPENSIVE!)
One of the Jonas brothers showed up.  (Sorry, I don't know who they are)
There was an actual horse drawn carriage.

"I was just so happy… marriage means for better or for worse," Teresa, 39, tells In Touch Weekly. "We've been through a lot, and if anything, it's just made us stronger.""I wanted to show my girls that marriage is really important, as is being faithful to one another," the mother of four adds

Here is my question.  Who paid for this?  Didn't they just file bankruptcy for $11 million dollars?


I'm sorry, I just think she's crazy, and this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey really drew attention to how nutty she is.  Actually looking back, she always was crazy.  The crazy shopping she did to furnish her home.  The clothes shopping with her kids.  The infamous table flip.  She's always been a little "off", but she was overshadowed the last two seasons by the drama of Danielle Staub.  Now with Danielle gone, we have really gotten to see the "REAL" Teresa Giudice, and pretty much what a douche Joe is.

She is interesting to say the least.  I'm sure this will somehow air on Bravo and possibly even TLC "Say Yes to the Dress" episode with her going to Kleinfeld's searching for the gown.  Who knows when it comes to Teresa.  Shady is a good start for sure.
